Welcome to the 62nd Annual Jackson County Youth Fair! This is our third year at the Brackenridge Recreational Complex Main Event Center. We strive to provide family entertainment for both the young and the young at heart. We have FREE entertainment lined up to provide fun for the whole family. Come enjoy The Rhinestone Roper, Artistry in Wood - Chainsaw Sculptor, Exotic Petting Zoo, Eric Kand Comedy Stage Hypnosis Show, DJ-Timothy Gonzales, and Crossroads Clowns. Heart of America Carnival will be bringing more "teenage rides" than previous years and still offer daily wrist bands. Bring your whole family for endless rides and food at the Fair. The Jackson County Youth Fair Association is a non-profit organization (501(c) (3)) created in 1949 and dedicated to the youth of Jackson County who are seeking knowledge in the areas of agriculture, livestock, and related industries. The fair allows the youth in our community a facility to exhibit, show, and sell their projects. We would like to invite everyone to support the youth of Jackson County and come out to the fair to view projects and possibly purchase at the youth auctions. Our Fair’s success is judged by the results of our Youth Auction. In this time of economic downfall, our Youth Auction brought $540,000.00 last year. We commend all buyers and supporters for purchasing exhibits and donating monies to the Youth of Jackson County. The community support of our annual event is phenomenal and we ask for your continued support this year. Visit the family department and art exhibits to view all the award winning entries and the commercial and sponsor booths in the Commons Area. Don’t forget to stop by the local organizations’ food booths for some good ole “fair food”. They will appreciate your support. I would like to personally thank all the directors and committee members for there dedication and support. All these individuals are volunteers and spend many hours to make the fair a success.
